LOCATION
The Regional Extension & Training Development Centre (RETDC) is located at the Ayer Hitam, about 24 km from Kluang Town.

AREA
The RETDC is establish at 1986 and occupies a total are of 10.2 ha, it comprises various facilities for the conduct and administration of training programmes, conferences and seminars, sports and recreation and accommodation for trainees and course participants.

OBJECTIVES
To provide technical training, management and extension program to the staff of the Department of Agriculture,Malaysia
To improve the knowledge, skills and expertise of technical officers in modern agricultural technology.
To provide a center of training to government departments and agencies in agricultural subject matter, entrepreneurship and information technology.

FUNCTIONS
To Conduct training to the staff of the Department of Agriculture
Development of agriculture extansion program
Centre of agriculture knowledge and tecnology
To organize seminar, workshops,conferences in formulating extension and technical support programs.
To conduct training need identification and analysis.
To conduct evaluation on the effectiveness and impact of training programs

Dinning Hall
Food and drinks are served at an air-conditioned dinning hall.

Vehicle
Transport are ready for all participants

Library
Books and megazine are available for use

Computer room
We provide computers with internet service

Conference Room and Classroom
The conference room and classroom can accommodate up to 30 participants.

Recreation
Facilities for outdoor and indoor activities as like as volleyball court,table tennis,dart and mini gymnasium are available for all participants. Cable TV also available at the recreation room.
